We are absolutely thrilled and deeply honored to share that Capture Your Story has been featured in the latest issue of Hadassah Magazine!

As a publication that represents such a pillar of the Jewish community, this recognition is incredibly meaningful to our entire team. It’s a wonderful validation of our mission: helping families preserve their unique legacies and connect with their heritage.

Why This Feature is So Personal

This feature feels like a true "full-circle" moment. As the article mentions, our founder, Ilana Sinclair, was made a Hadassah life member at birth by her paternal grandmother, Barbi Weinberg, a trailblazer in the Los Angeles and national Jewish communal world.

That deep, multi-generational connection to Jewish life and values is the very essence of Capture Your Story. The article perfectly highlights what we call our "Jewish sensibility." Our team of writers, editors, and designers—all native English-speakers living in Israel—share a deep understanding of Jewish history, traditions, and the nuances of our clients' stories.

As Ilana explained to the magazine, "Because we are all Jewish, we can relate to Jewish stories in a way that puts people at ease.”

A Story That Says It All

We were especially moved that the article shared the experience of our wonderful client, Myra Waisbord Treitel, a Hadassah life member from Arizona.

For 40 years, Myra had been trying to record her father's Holocaust survival story. We were so privileged to help her. In the end, she created a 131-page book that included her father's story, her mother's story, and her own.

In her own words, "It is a masterpiece. It was the best gift I could give myself and my children and grandchildren.”

Myra's story is a powerful reminder of why this work matters.

Our Mission Continues

The Hadassah Magazine article captures the "why" behind our work perfectly. As Ilana noted, “With antisemitism rising around the world, it feels more important than ever to have that connection to identity and pride in your heritage, to feel strengthened by the people who lived before you and the challenges they overcame.”

Your story is a crucial part of that heritage. It's a source of strength and a vital link to the future.

We are so grateful to Hadassah Magazine for helping us share our mission. We hope this article inspires you to think about the stories in your own family waiting to be told.

Is it time to capture your story?

If Myra's story resonates with you, or if you've been thinking about preserving your own life story or the story of a loved one, we would be honored to help.
