Some Thoughts Ahead of Mother's Day

Here in Israel, we celebrate Yom HaMishpacha — a day to honor the whole family. But many of us still have mothers, grandmothers, or mother figures across the ocean in the U.S., getting ready to celebrate Mother’s Day.

If that’s you, and you’re searching for a gift that truly resonates, here’s one idea:

Show her that her story matters — that she matters.

Below is an excerpt from one of our Life Story books. It’s a dedication written by a daughter on behalf of herself and her sister — a powerful expression of love and gratitude, tucked into the final pages of their mother’s memoir as a surprise.

Maybe you’re not ready to create a full Life Story book. That’s okay.

But maybe this will spark something — a letter, a conversation, a moment where you ask her to share a story you’ve never heard.

Because the most meaningful gifts don’t come in a box; they come in words, in questions, and in the time we take to listen.
