What happens to a story when the last person who knows it is gone?

A client of ours lived with that question for years. As an only child, she was the sole keeper of her parents' stories of how they survived the Warsaw Ghetto against all odds, and she felt the weight of that every day, not knowing what to do with them.

She contacted me to see if we could help, and over the course of our work together, those stories finally found a home in her Life Story book.

She later told Hadassah Magazine: "It is a masterpiece. It was the best gift I could give myself, my children, and my grandchildren."

What had felt like a burden for so long has now become her family's legacy.

Most of us don't think of our stories as something that needs protecting, but they do. And the ones that only you know are the most vulnerable of all. If you have stories that deserve to outlive you, reach out. We'd love to help.
